Unlock Your Potential: YFCL Adult Literacy

The Adult Literacy and Numeracy Team are part of the Youth, Family and Community Learning Service in South Lanarkshire. 

Adult learners (age 16 and over) can join informal and relaxed groups in their local community, to build confidence and acquire skills in literacy, numeracy, budgeting or learning new digital skills on smart phones, iPads or PCs. 

We also offer a range of SQA Core Skills accredited qualifications in Communication, Numeracy, and IT up to Level 4 on the Scottish Qualifications Framework.   

Whether you are looking to gain employability skills, learn more about online programs (setting up an email address or completing forms online), to support your child at school, build on your current spelling, grammar, punctuation, reading, writing; literacy skills for college/university or have a learning difficulty - we have the learning group for you and at no cost.
