Who we are
Hareleeshill Community Hub (HCH) is a dedicated community-led facility located at 21 Howard Street, Larkhall. Born out of a partnership between The Church at The Cross and The Baptist Church, our mission is to provide a safe, high-quality space where every member of our neighbourhood feels respected and valued.
In an area where local hall space was previously limited, we stepped in to create a central point for connection, support, and growth.
Our Mission & Purpose
We are driven by a commitment to the well-being of the Larkhall community. Our core goals include:
Improving Health & Wellbeing: Providing activities that keep our residents active and engaged.
Reducing Social Isolation: Creating a "home away from home" where neighbors can meet and form lasting friendships.
The Relief of Poverty: Offering practical, non-judgmental support through our food bank, clothes rail, and advice services.
A space for everyone
Thanks to support from local grants, we have worked hard to ensure our facility is fully accessible. From our toddler groups to our senior activities, we strive to remove barriers so that everyone can participate in community life.
Beyond the Hub: Expert Support
We don't just provide a room; we provide a bridge to essential services. We regularly host specialist partners to ensure our community has access to the help they need right on their doorstep, including:
Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)
Money Matters
Social Security Scotland
Whether you are here to learn a new skill at Adult Literacy, find support at our Community Corner, or simply enjoy a coffee during our Community Cafe, you are a vital part of the Hareleeshill Community Hub story.
