Be Part of Larkhall’s First Poppy Installation

This year, Hareleeshill Community Hub is inviting everyone in Larkhall to take part in a special tribute — Larkhall’s first poppy installation, created by the people of our town. It’s a heartfelt way to honour those who served and sacrificed, while bringing our community together through creativity and remembrance.

💬 How You Can Get Involved

We’re asking local groups, schools, and individuals to help us fill Larkhall with poppies. You can make poppies from recycled plastic bottles, crochet, or knit them — each one will become part of a stunning display at Larkhall New Parish Church on Remembrance Day.

If you’d like to join in, contact Susan at hchlarkhall@gmail.com for instructions on how to create your poppies. Finished poppies can be dropped off at:

Hareleeshill Community Hub
21 Howard Street, Larkhall, ML9 2LY

Every poppy made is a symbol of remembrance and community spirit — a small act that contributes to something truly meaningful.

🕊️ Remembrance Day Services

Join us as we come together to remember and reflect:

Wednesday 11th November

  • 10.45 AM (Act of Remembrance at 11 AM)

  • 5.45 PM (Act of Remembrance at 6 PM) 📍 Larkhall New Parish Church

Take a moment to view the poppy installation — a tribute crafted by the people of Larkhall — and honour those who gave so much.
